The Liège waffle is the iconic pearl sugar waffle from Liège: melting on the inside, caramelised on the outside. Sold in packs of 2 waffles (180 g), it will take you straight back to childhood, at break time or teatime.

Real pearl sugar melts deliciously inside the waffle and caramelises on the outside. The result: a golden, slightly crunchy crust and a soft centre.
What is a Liège waffle?
The Liège waffle differs from the Brussels waffle in its thick, brioche-like dough, into which pearl sugar is mixed. As it bakes, the sugar grains melt inside and caramelise on the surface, giving it that golden crust and those little crunchy bits it is known for. Its irregular shape with rounded edges is typical.
How to enjoy the Liège waffle
- Plain, just as it is, at room temperature.
- Warm: a few moments in the oven or toaster bring the pearl sugar caramel back to life.
- Indulgent: with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, fresh fruit or a drizzle of Sirop de Liège (Liège syrup).
It goes just as well with a morning coffee as with a hot chocolate in the late afternoon.

- Store in a dry place away from sources of heat.
Once the pack is open, close it tightly to keep the waffles soft.
