A speciality of the Pays de Herve

Siroperie Meurens has existed since 1902. Its founder, Clément Meurens, set it up near Aubel railway station to be as close as possible to the orchards of the Pays de Herve. “Vrai Sirop de Liège” became its flagship product and a registered trademark in 1947. The fruit is first pressed, then the juices are concentrated before being put into jars.

Meurens syrup is made with added sugar. If you prefer a version with no added sugar, discover the artisanal syrups from the Nyssen syrup works and the Charlier syrup works, made from pears and apples, as well as Thomsin syrup, cooked in copper vats.
