Description
M Pek Bio is a Belgian organic peket made from organically farmed cereals, spices and carefully selected juniper berries. Presented as the first Belgian organic peket, M∙PEK 35 is 35% ABV and comes in a 70 cl bottle.
M Pek Bio: plain peket, in an organic version
Unlike the range’s fruity aperitifs, M Pek Bio is a plain peket, in which you find the character of juniper.
Tasting notes
- Colour: clear, lightly amber
- Aroma and taste: subtle floral taste enhanced by the presence of juniper berries

How to enjoy M Pek Bio?
Enjoy it at room temperature or well chilled, as you prefer, with coffee. It can also enhance cocktails.
- The Liège way: well chilled, in a small peket glass.
- As a long drink: topped up with tonic, with a twist of lemon and a few juniper berries.
- In a cocktail: in place of gin in your classic recipes.
Storage
Store somewhere cool and away from light. Best consumed within the year.
Peket, Liège’s eau-de-vie
Peket (or pèkèt) is the Liège name for jenever: a grain spirit flavoured with juniper berries. In Liège, it comes in many fruity flavours and is gladly shared at popular festivities, such as 15 August in Outremeuse. The Liège Tourist Office gives it a place in its brochure “Spécialités liégeoises – Recettes et bonnes adresses” (in French).
