Chocolate lard 200 g: a soft, coated sweet
In Belgium, “lard” (“spek” in Dutch) is the name for a marshmallow-type sweet: a light, soft mixture made from sugar syrup and gelatine. This version combines the softness of the lard with a chocolate coating that adds a crunchy contrast.

Storage
Keep the lard in a dry place, away from heat and sunlight, to protect the coating. Once opened, close the packaging tightly to keep the lard soft. Follow the storage instructions on the packaging.
