Description
Lard d’Anvers 200 g (Antwerp lard) is the plain lard, with no coating, recognisable by its two layers of marshmallow: white on top and pink underneath. A soft, melt-in-the-mouth Belgian sweet, sold in 200 g, to share or keep for a treat.
Lard d’Anvers 200 g: the traditional sweet
In Belgium, “lard” (“spek” in Dutch) is the name for a marshmallow-type sweet: a light, soft mixture made from sugar syrup and gelatine. Lard d’Anvers is the classic version, served plain.

Storage
Keep the lard in a dry place, away from heat. Once opened, close the packaging tightly to keep the lard soft. Follow the storage instructions on the packaging.
